Personal Lines Multi-Line Underwriter 1

We are looking to fill multiple Underwriter 1 positions in our Personal Lines Multi-Line department. In this role, you will evaluate, rate, and process insurance requests for property and auto insurance products. The successful candidate will be customer-focused and look for ways to improve the customer experience. You will develop and maintain relationships with brokers to build lasting and profitable relationships, as well as provide work review and approval to staff in less senior positions. This role is about building relationships and continuously learning and developing knowledge about the end customers' needs through the broker.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have successfully completed two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Business, and have 1-3 years’ experience in underwriting. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
