We’re looking for a qualified individual to join our team in Winnipeg, MB, as a regular, full-time Commercial Property Underwriter II. This position is responsible for underwriting complex commercial lines insurance risks. The Underwriter II reviews, evaluates, rates, and process insurance requests for, Commercial Property, Commercial Auto or Farm insurance products. The Underwriter II is customer-focused, looks for innovative ways to improve the customer experience, and communicates with brokers to develop lasting and profitable relationships. The Underwriter II trains, mentors, provides technical guidance, work review and approval to staff in junior positions.

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study such as Business. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in Commercial Property Underwriting. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
