Insurance Advisor - Personal lines and Mid-market commercial

We are currently seeking an Insurance Advisor - personal lines and mid-market commercial to join our rapidly growing personal lines team at InsureLine Brokers Empire in Edmonton, AB. InsureLine Brokers Empire has been in the insurance industry since 2009. Responsibilities: 

• Providing service to personal and mid market commercial clients 
• Providing customers with prompt service by providing advice, discussing customer concerns, including but not limited to walk-ins, emails, and phone calls 
• Entering and updating clients’ information in our BMS system 
• Preparing documentation for insurers; completing applications for new clients; issuing insurance certificates, and binders 
• Communicating with insurance companies and underwriters regarding policy changes, renewals, and new business 
• Following up with adjusters on claims status 
• Updating of insurance summaries to correspond with current change requests 
• Keeping current with activities and workload 
• Follow branch workflows 

Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of personal lines experience is required
• General Level 1 insurance license is required 
• Microsoft office 365 experience is required 
• Outlook experience is required 
• Experience with Epic is an asset 
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, critical think and be detailed oriented 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and meet deadlines 
• Able to be pro-active and work both independently and as a part of a team 
• Positive and respectful attitude with both clients and co-workers 
• High degree of professionalism and integrity
