Broker Education Representative (SK)

We are looking for a permanent full time Broker Education Representative in Saskatchewan.  You will be responsible for leading regional broker education and training programs that proactively seek to drive broker behavior and serve as a consistent central training resource for brokers.  In this role you will collaborate with HR to design and develop content that is engaging, effective, and supports an optimal learner experience.  You will partner with external and internal business areas on assessing needs and establishing key learning initiatives and ensures alignment to business outcomes and the overall Broker Education Strategy.  This position supports the continuous review and refinement of broker training programs to ensure adoption and accuracy. As well, you will be responsible for facilitating broker training programs for SGI and SGI CANADA.  You will work with internal broker support business areas to ensure brokers are utilizing SGI’s tools and resources to their fullest and provide feedback and opportunities for changes where there are barriers.  A substantial amount of the work will be performed away from established headquarters and overnight stays will be required.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity.  We are looking for candidates who have a two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in Business or Education.  A Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation or a Chartered Professional Insurance (CIP) designation will be considered equivalent education.  Candidates must also be working towards a certificate or designation in the field of adult education and have at least three to five years’ experience in a senior technical insurance position.  A valid driver’s licence is also required.  Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
