Do you have a background in automotive repair? Do you enjoy working in an estimating environment? Our SGI CANADA team is growing and we are currently searching for our next Auto Appraiser! This position will be based out of our newest branch in Calgary.
In this role, you will be responsible for examining vehicle damage and estimating repair costs for light vehicles. You will estimate parts and labour required to repair vehicle damage and determine whether it makes economic sense to repair. We are looking for someone with a robust background in automotive repair and estimation.
As an Auto Appraiser, you will work within a close knit group of appraisers within our Alberta claims team. We have a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration and building strong relationships with customers and team members will be key to your success.

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have a journeyperson certification in motor vehicle body repair as well as seven years’ experience estimating and repairing vehicle damage on light vehicles. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
