Are you a leader in the insurance industry? SGI CANADA is currently searching for a Manager, Alberta & BC Claims (Property) based out of Regina!
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the branch claims function for property insurance claims for SGI CANADA Alberta and British Columbia regions. You will oversee claims handling activities, provide direction to employees on complex claims and ensure that claims are investigated and settled in accordance with applicable legislation, programs, policies, procedures and customer service targets.
You will be accountable for building, coaching and mentoring a team of claims adjusters and lead by example by making good decisions on time, creating effective partnerships with key contacts, and focusing on improving the customer experience.
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree in a field such as Business. Candidates should have at least four years of claims adjusting experience and four years of leadership experience. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
