Daily responsibilities include the following:

  • Offering exceptional service to clients by assessing their needs and recommending solutions
  • Providing a superior customer experience to prospects and existing clients
  • An advocate for our clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Ability to professionally explain coverages and limits to clients, discuss products to address needs and gaps in coverage
  • Review renewals for accuracy and remarketing
  • Endorsement Processing
  • Contribute to new business production by up selling and cross selling
  • Preparation of submissions, proposals and applications
  • Providing certificates of insurance
  • Diligently follow up on accounts receivables and payments
  • Frequently resolve problems and issues with respect to client policies
  • Take claims information from clients
  • Obtain, explain and exchange information with business representatives, clients, contractors/ suppliers, representatives of professional agencies/governments, the general public, salespersons and employees
  • Maintain database of client conversations
  • Develop new work methods, procedures, or manuals as required
  • Attend training sessions and seminars as required
  • Occasionally provide guidance, instruction, and direction for others


  • Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lines experience as a licensed broker
  • Certified Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO)
  • Strong customer service, organization and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Familiar with Company Portals
  • Sig XP experience would be a great asset
