The Director is responsible to lead, provide direction and set expectations for growing and sustaining business relationships between SGI CANADA and its broker partners. They will collaborate with regional business development to ensure organizational alignment by establishing, monitoring, and maintaining the governance framework for all broker management on a national basis. They will provide change management leadership to integrate an analytic, data driven approach into better business decisions as well as oversight of the broker management processes including broker programs and contracts.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity.  We are looking for candidates who have degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as business administration, a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation along with ten years’ experience comprised of six years’ management experience with increasing responsibility in the insurance industry and four years’ experience working with brokers and/or other external business partners. A valid driver’s licence is required for this role. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
