JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative and technical support to the Director and Marketing Brokers and provide the highest quality of service to commercial clients. The successful candidate is a quick learner, self-starter and team player.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist marketers and Director with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
  • Assist Commercial Lines department in setting up and updating accounts in Broker Management system (EPIC)
  • Process documentation (Certificates of Insurance, Binders, Proposals, Renewal Packages, Submissions, Invoices, Finance Contracts, Loss Notices)
  • Process endorsements as instructed by marketers
  • Follow up on endorsements, policies and other documents from insurance carrier
  • Initial review of policy documentation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 1 General Insurance License
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with EPIC an asset
