Driver Education Assessment Coordinator 2

If you’re passionate about traffic safety and desire to lead others to do the same, we want to hear from you!  We are currently looking for a motivated Driver Educator to join our team as a permanent, full-time Driver Education Assessment Coordinator 2 in Regina.  You will administer and coordinate SGI’s involvement in Saskatchewan’s Class 5 and Class 1 (MELT) driver education programs and oversee Driver Instructor Training courses for all licence classes. You will also be responsible for high school funding reconciliation, analyzing and making recommendations to approve/deny contracts for high school driver education funding and the audit and oversight of all training programs

Please note: Travel away from established headquarters for short or extended periods, including overnight stays, is required. 

Requirements

We’re counting on you to bring a unique combination of knowledge & skills to this role. We are looking for candidates who have the following:

  • A two-year diploma in business administration, finance, accounting or public policy.
  • Certified Saskatchewan Driver Instructor from the program offered by SGI or SIAST if pre 2011.
  • Successful completion of any 3 CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) courses.
  • Satisfactory driver’s abstract.
  • Class 4 driver’s licence.
