Brokers are our focus and you know what you need to do to build those relationships and make doing business with SGI CANADA easy for them. SGI CANADA is growing and hiring Personal Line Underwriters. We are looking for underwriters with a few years’ experience and few CIP classes to join us in building and maintaining relationships with brokers while emphasizing excellent service standards. We are looking for applicants with varying experience to consider for multi level Underwriting roles at out Ontario Regional Office in Etobicoke. As a key player on our underwriting team, you’ll understand brokers are our focus and you know what you need to do to build those relationships and make doing business with SGI CANADA easy for them. They’ll be counting on you for support in growing a profitable book of business. You’ll support a sales culture by being a touch point for our broker partners, always having a strong customer focus and attracting quality business to SGI CANADA.

Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have completed 3 or more CIP courses and a diploma. Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in underwriting. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
