Personal Lines Account Manager




Will Insurance is in search of a person who enjoys meeting the needs of others, in order to service and grow an existing personal lines book of business. Servicing a book of business requires vast insurance knowledge coupled with a genuine care for people and their insurance needs.  This person should be able to efficiently perform a multitude of tasks, accurately record and input data, be highly self-directed and work well independently with minimal direction.  This is a 9-5 salary-based position with added sales/retention incentives.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Managing all aspects of the existing book of business
  • Maintaining consistent customer contact, including regular renewal reviews
  • Retention of existing business, upselling coverages, cross-selling other insurance products
  • Preparing and processing of quotes/applications for new business and remarkets
  • Handling all customer requests for policy change from intake to policy issuance
  • Processing all transactions in company portals
  • Taking and reporting claims
  • Resolving customer concerns and complaints
  • Being the liaison between the clients and insurance company

The requirements are:

  • High-school diploma
  • Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario license - RIBO
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance related customer service industry
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Computer program knowledge required; MS Office (Word/Excel)
  • Experience with SigXP & Applied would be an asset
  • CAIB/CIP designation would be an asset
