Personal Lines CSR

We are a small but busy insurance agency that has an opening for a Full Time Personal Lines CSR beginning in February 2019.  We are looking for an energetic and customer service oriented individual to add to our Personal Lines team.  We provide a competitive salary package, with benefits and offer education assistance to help you further your professional development. Job Duties include:
Quoting and writing new Home and Auto business
Reviewing and processing renewals and policy changes
Managing account documentation (i.e. quotes, endorsements, cancellations, routine inquires, etc.)
Responding to customer inquiries through email and telephone in a friendly and efficient manner
Reporting claims to Insurance companies
Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:
Must have Province of Nova Scotia Insurance license in good standing
Exceptional customer service skills, with strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word ) and company portals
2-3 years’ experience in a personal lines environment
A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and with others in a small office environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload
CAIB would be an asset
Working knowledge of The Agency Manager (TAM) software would be an asset
