This is your opportunity to help shape SGI CANADA’s future as a major Canadian insurance player.  As part of the leadership team, located in Regina, you’ll help develop the best practices and risk appetite for our Saskatchewan commercial lines underwriting team. Engaging others through effective communication and collaboration, you will inspire your team to implement changes that support operational excellence and sustainable growth while maintaining a global view in the process design, monitoring and governance of underwriting and an integrated view with product management. 

We’re looking for well-rounded experience in commercial lines underwriting, an analytical perspective, and strong business acumen to visualize and deliver on the bigger strategic picture. Requirements

Candidates must bring the successful experience and breadth of knowledge necessary to succeed — after all, we’re counting on you. We’re looking for candidates who have Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or a bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to insurance. Candidates must have 5 years’ management experience with increasing responsibility in a related field. An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
