We provide a full range of insurance products and services through locations in Trail, Nelson, Cranbrook, Kimberley, Crawford Bay, Invermere, Sparwood and Summerland. We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who can build strong relationships and grow our business.
Reporting to the Board of Directors you will provide the strategic direction and business leadership for all aspects of the agencies’ personal lines and commercial operations. With a view to incorporate best practices and continuous improvement, you will focus on growing the business in existing markets and developing partnerships and relationships to open up new markets. You have already proven that you can be a change agent and have experienced the successes and challenges of building and merging businesses into one entity, while growing the bottom line. Just as important, you are a successful people leader and coach who can guide and develop a dedicated team of professional employees. You’ve demonstrated your ability throughout your career to build strong working relationships and gain respect and trust from clients, employees and union stakeholders.
You have a relevant degree/diploma and at least 10 years of senior management experience with a strong knowledge of the insurance industry. You are a dynamic and proven leader with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
