Claims Representative II – Bodily Injury

As a Bodily Injury Claims Representative II you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and resolution of complex claims. You will contribute to our client service culture through daily interactions with clients and by implementing innovative, client-centric solutions. 

 

What you’re responsible for:

  • Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and making decisions autonomously, to resolve complex bodily injury claims.

  • Contacting claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.

  • Managing complex files in defense litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

  • Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.

  • Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.  

 

What to expect:

  • You will travel regularly.

  • You are required have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.

  • This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.

  • Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required.

  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

To join our team:

  • You have three years of claims or related business experience.

  • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.

  • You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

  • You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work
