Executive VP & COO, Auto Fund

At SGI, we are focused on an exciting future involving growth, change and transformation.  We are seeking a highly experienced, results-oriented and future focused Executive Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer for Auto Fund.

As an active member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the EVP & COO, Auto Fund will be responsible for leading the design, development, alignment, and implementation of strategies for the Auto Fund, Claims and Salvage operations which support the successful delivery of the corporation’s business objectives, vision, and operational success.  You will provide leadership and establish direction for the management of claims handling and customer service; the provision of quality legal and special investigation services; safe and profitable salvage operations; traffic safety; driver programs, motor license issuing, and all related programs, legislation, regulation, and policy. Through the Auto Fund, SGI is the agency of record for traffic safety for the government of Saskatchewan, and the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the administration of the following Acts and their regulations: The Traffic Safety Act, The Snowmobile Act, the All-Terrain Vehicles Act and The Automobile Accident Insurance Act

While the ideal candidate would be positioned out of Regina, consideration will also be given to another location within the province.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as business plus a CIP or FCIP designation.

You must have at least 20 years of experience in the insurance field including at least 13 years of progressively challenging leadership experience. As you will be leading a national team, in a post-covid environment, you must be flexible to travel as and when required.

A combination of education and experience may be considered.
