Manager, SK Underwriting (Commercial Property)

SGI CANADA is currently searching for a Manager, SK Underwriting (Commercial Property) to join our team based out of Regina! In this role, you will be responsible for building, coaching and mentoring a team of underwriters that understands and delivers one view of commercial lines underwriting that combines product, technology and services for our broker partners while attracting quality business to SGI CANADA.

 

As a manager at SGI CANADA, you will build a culture of leadership and accountability to effectively deliver on strategic and corporate strategies. In addition, you will develop and maintain positive relationships with internal departments, broker and industry partners, and consumers.

 

Requirements

 

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity — after all, we’re counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree in a field such as Business, Mathematics or Applied Sciences. Candidates should have at least four years of leadership experience and four years of experience in a senior underwriting role. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
